Albacete 6 Hour

After the Le Mans, where we had problems with electricity we were confident, that we have all sources and support needed to get to podium in total result. Whole team traveled to Albacete even more motivated. Surprise for us was very cold weather during the whole weekend.

First free trainings we used for improving and setting the bikes and I can say successfully. First qualification started Warwick Nowland as the first rider of the team. On the beginning of qualification he was riding on the dry track and when he was getting the best times the rain started again.

Second rider was Jason Pridmore and was riding mainly on wet track so whole starting pole was slowing down. In that time after the falling one of the rider during the heavy rain the organizators had to stop the qualification.

Our third rider Martin Kuzma did not enter the qualification because of weather conditions and the times were not relevant.

The tactic of our team were successful and after the time counting we were after the first qualification in Pole Position.

Next day the second qualification went on in similar conditions but the riders were absolutely concentrating for race.

The race in Albacete are difficult on time because the race starts on the same day after second qualification and warm up. We didn't want to risk anything and after the second race our team got to 8th starting position.

Our first rider was Jason Pridmore. The start of race in Albacete was first time in the history different as is usual in Endurance. After the start the riders had to go first 2 laps after the safety car.

After the start we were riding somewhere between 3rd and 6th place depending on pit stops. After 1 hour and 45 minutes Warwick Nowland changed Jason bike and was keeping our position around 4th to 6th place. Our tactic was simple - keep the Jason Pridmore on the end of the race as long as possible because he had fantastic lap times on the wet track and was second fastest rider on track.

Jason changed Warwick in pit stop with new wet tires but after his falling the mechanics did everything necessary to get bike back on track so whole repairing took only 6 minutes but we were on 22nd place. Jason Pridmore went on again after the crash even though he injured his hand and leg. Immediately we were moving up again position by position.

Whole team was ready and waited for pit stop: riders changing and refueling, but when the Jason came he just showed us to refuel and went on track again.

In that moment we were on 6th position app. 10 minutes before the end of the race, Jason fell down on the very difficult and dirty track again but didn't go to box so we didn't loose any precious seconds.

The flag finished the race and after two fallings in this wet EWC race our total position was 6th place.

Our thanks belong to our riders Warwick and Jason, to our mechanics, coordinator, time keeper, fuel filler, team fireman and our catering. The Slovak food everybody loved…

I would like to thank to our partners as well: BK Group, Forsage Agency, DM systems and to everybody who believe in us and helping us.

Our targets are much higher and everybody are awaiting the Japanese 8 hours race in Suzuka.

Again thanks to everybody.
